Mattias Olsson has a PhD in Biology. His thesis focused on the importance of wildlife crossings for reducing the negative effects of highways on wildlife. After completing his dissertation, Mattias conducted research on traffic safety measures for reducing moose and wild boar collisions. He has worked as a specialist in several infrastructure projects for the Swedish Transport Administration. Mattias has many years of experience in project management and has a wide personal network in Sweden and internationally. His main areas of expertise are conservation biology, terrestrial ecology, GIS and wildlife research, and he is also a highly competent field biologist.
